They are the family that we choose for ourselves and today, on International Friendship Day, I want to celebrate my friends, let them know how much they mean to me and say thanks for all they bring to my life.
We start making friends early on in life, at playgroups, nursery, school, university, work among other places. If we’re lucky we get to hold onto some of those friends for life and have them there with us by our sides at all the important events and occasions that occur as we grow older.
